Description
Like new condition, never used for hunting. The only rounds shot from it was to sight in the scope.
The Bushnell scope that came with it wouldn't hold zero so I mounted a new, from the box very clear Nikon Bushmasters ll 3x9.
To mount it I had to also mount a new weaver multi slot base made specifically for the Axis.
The synthetic stock has a nice feel/fit but was a bit flimsy so I reinforced it with fiber glass inside of it to add proper stiffness.
The barrel is still free floating.
As you can see I also made my own winter camo pattern.
I used automotive paint as it has a hardener to be more durable.
Easy enough to sand off and paint the way you wish.
The trigger has been polished so now it still has a safe amount of trigger pull and yet has a crisp, smooth release.
This will be a nice lightweight hunting set up for anyone.
I also have 108 rounds of 150 gr. FMJ for an additional $100 if interested.
As well, a Lee three piece reloading dies, still sealed in it's box, for .308 $35
